About the Authors

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14 KJV

  • Lakeisha was born and raised in Saluda, SC, where she loved writing in high school. She had a way of seeing things differently, so this allowed her to express herself in different ways, like poetry. She has a passion for children and teaching not just how to learn but also the word of God. Her love for children pushed her to get her AA Early Childhood Education degree. She has also received her BA in Experimental psychology and her MA in Mental Health Counseling.
  • She has had the heart to serve and help others since she was twelve years old when she gave her life to God. She knew she couldn't live without God at a young age. Her Favorite scripture is Philippians 3:14. "I press toward the mark so the high call of Christ Jesus. When I want to give up, I have to find a reason to keep going." Her greatest accomplishment is answering the call of Ministry because God saw beyond all her mistakes and falls and still used her. When she gets some free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, traveling, visiting different parks, listening to music, and exploring new things. Lakiesha will continue to use the gift that God gave her to bless and help others.
